Draft and scope
This notice describes the implemented application, but is not a completed legal privacy notice. Before launch, the owner must confirm its legal identity, contact information, retention periods, geographic obligations and provider disclosures.
Account and content data
Clerk verifies account access; CountScene stores its own internal user identifier, email and display name plus an external identity mapping. CountScene stores account settings, countdowns, pages, saved widget designs, revisions, uploaded files, listings, purchases and support messages. Page editing also keeps an owner-specific recovery copy on the current device when browser storage is available. Do not upload sensitive information that is unnecessary to your countdown.
Visibility
Private content is limited by account authorization. Public and unlisted content may be copied by visitors once reachable. Secret reveal content is withheld online until the deadline unless the same asset is published elsewhere. Downloads and offline exports cannot be recalled.
Analytics
CountScene records aggregate daily views by timer or countdown page and direct/embed channel, plus supported countdown actions. Memory-game progress stays in the current tab. Short-lived signed page tokens deduplicate actions; the application does not create advertising cookies, cross-site visitor profiles or unique-person reports. Hosting and external providers may maintain their own security logs.
External services
Media players connect to YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch or Spotify only after a visitor chooses to load them. Each provider controls its own cookies, content and privacy practices. If AI, payments, email or SMS are activated, relevant information is sent to the configured provider.
Requests and retention
Sign in to Support and choose Privacy or account data to request access, correction, export or deletion. Requests are reviewed by the owner; self-service account erasure and fixed deletion schedules are not yet implemented. Public launch requires documented retention and response procedures.
